Jurek Lorber

Nice to meet you!

I am a medical student at the University of Münster with a Bachelor of Science in physics from University of Bonn. I have a strong passion for neuroscience and have done an Erasmus at the Neuroscience programm in Athens.

Im also part of the group of Prof. Tchumatchenko in Bonn, where I work on mathematical modeling of aging processes in the brain. I'm driven by curiosity, a love for interdisciplinary work and the ambition to contribute to tackling the big questions: What is the brain’s code? Can we find a unified theory of brain function?

Beyond my studies, I am engaged in international and interdisciplinary projects: As a spokesperson of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation, as part of the organizing team of the German American Conference at Harvard, and in the leadership of the Young European Symposium.
